Information for Suppliers

Any building industry contractor seeking to undertake government building projects valued at more than $250,000 or any building industry consultant seeking to undertake consultancies associated with government building projects must first become appropriately registered on the whole-of-government Prequalification (PQC) System. Prequalification involves the completion of an application and involves self-assessment against the prequalification criteria of experience, systems, people and business together with statutory and referee checks undertaken by the Department. Successful applicants are awarded one of the four PQC levels ranging from effective work practices (1) to world’s best practice (4).
