eContract Admin
The primary objectives of the contract administration system eContract Admin are to:
- Provide an electronic system to administer contracts
- Provide a system that can effectively manage issues under the contract and records information regarding these issues
- Provide an integrated solution to the contract administration process which will reduce support costs
- Provide a system that will enable contracts to be administered in a consistent manner
- Improve the tracking and workflow of the contract administration process.
eContract Admin is used to carry out the following functions:
- Creation and maintenance of contract details including separable portions and contact details of the members of the project team
- Storage of documents relating to the contract such as the tender documents, contract documents, minutes of meetings and correspondence
- Maintenance of the following task registers relating to the contract:
- Extension of Time Claims
- Requests for Information
- Contract Variations
- Contract Claims
- Provisional Sum Adjustments
- Provisional Quantity Adjustments
- Subcontracting
- General Correspondence
- Site Directions
- Shop Drawings
- Inspections
- Tests
- Samples/Items
- Defective Work
- Storage of responses, comments, and documents that relate to entries in any of the previous registers.
- Assignment of Tasks
- Task lists for all members of the Project Team
- eMail notifications of tasks and events in the contract administration process
- Reporting on all tasks
